01 The context

It recruits high-profile university graduates (PEM) who work for two years in low-income schools. As of 2026 it reports 13 cohorts, 249 active professionals, 989 alumni and more than 210,000 children and young people reached in 14 states. It measures impact with Teach For All's MET evaluation and was one of five countries selected by the Gates Foundation for semiannual measurement.
