Description
Peri-urban community on the banks of the Pance River, near Cali, that since 1997 has autonomously operated an integrated, ecological drinking water and wastewater treatment system through ASOVORAGINE. It manages the aqueduct (new system delivered in 2025), operates a treatment plant (PTAR) that treats the wastewater before discharging it into the Pance River, and carries out micro-watershed reforestation and environmental education. Evaluated as a historical case of the DESAFIO project by CINARA.
