Description
State-wide transition to natural farming (without synthetic chemical inputs) led by communities, scaled through Community Resource Persons and women's self-help groups. The public agency RySS coordinates farmer-to-farmer training in agroecological principles. The state pilot launched in November 2016; coverage ranges from ~1 million (2024, CEEW case) to 'more than 6 million' according to the CEEW country brief.
