01 The context
A cluster RCT in Udaipur (Vaccine 2018, 96 villages in 3 arms) evaluated the pendant + voice reminders against a control NFC sticker. It evolved into CHIP, a digital platform for community health workers adopted by the government of Rajasthan as technical partner, today with 85,000+ workers enabled in Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Karnataka, including a Climate & Health Vulnerability Index (CHVI) developed with the Rajasthan Department of Health.
