Collegiate Body of Guardians of the Atrato River
Following Ruling T-622 of 2016, which recognized the Atrato River as a subject of rights, a Commission of Guardians was created: the Ministry of Environment as the river's legal representative and a Collegiate Body of 14 community guardians representing more than 300 Afro-descendant and indigenous communities of the basin.
