01 The context
It began in 2011 as a project of Stichting Novay; since 1 March 2014 it has been run by Stichting Digisterker (Enschede), led by Piet Boekhoudt. In 2022, 89% of the country's library organizations offered the course. The family of programs grew to include DigiVitaler, DigiVeiliger and Doe je digiding!. The KB Impactmonitor 2019-2022 shows improvements in skills, self-confidence and application in daily life.
