01 The context
A consortium (Endona, Enexis/Enpuls, Escozon, University of Twente, ICT Group, Dr Ten, Buurkracht) designed a market where energy is generated, stored, traded and consumed locally. Endona obtained an exemption from the Electricity Act to experiment. The study showed that grid peaks were reduced by up to 36% with savings for the community.
