Deliberatieve Digitale Democratie in Nederland (Pol.is pilot)
Pilot project to introduce in the Netherlands the open source digital deliberation platform Pol.is, which uses statistical analysis and algorithms to process the opinions of thousands of participants and make disagreements and points of consensus visible, including minority positions.

It was tested in 2020-2021 in Amsterdam and Groningen, with Stichting Netwerk Democratie as civil society partner and Democratie in Actie (a program of the Ministry of the Interior). The goal was to assess what it would take to scale the tool to the rest of the country. Inspired by the Taiwanese use of Pol.is (Audrey Tang).

The pilot was a project with a defined end (2020-2021) to assess scalability; with no sign of a continuation as a standalone project under this name after 2021, it is marked as completed with medium confidence (the final evaluation report was not located). The partner organization Netwerk Democratie remains active with successor digital democracy projects.
