It is based on the tutoring relationship: a personal contract between someone who masters a topic and someone who wants to learn it. It grew to hundreds of schools and was adopted in 2009-2012 as a national strategy by the SEP in ~9,000 low-performing schools. After the change of government it survives as a civil society organization (Redes de Tutoría S.C.) in several states, with replications in Peru, Chile and Nigeria. The model lives on within CONAFE as ABCD, in force in the 2024-2025 school year.● Active· scale systemic
