Led by the Indian NGO Nature Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS) with funding from the Livelihoods Fund, since 2011 it has planted more than 16 million mangroves, organizing village women in restoration and in alternative livelihoods (beekeeping, crab aquaculture, climate-smart agriculture, the Badabon Harvest brand created in 2018).
