01 The context
It promotes that public servants, legislators and candidates make three declarations public: assets, interests and taxes, via 3de3.mx. In the 2015-2016 cycle, 366 candidates participated (69 winners). The Ley 3de3 collected 634,143 signatures (well above the ~120,000 required) and led to the anti-corruption legislative package approved on June 17, 2016, the basis of the Sistema Nacional Anticorrupción; the declarations went from voluntary to mandatory (in force since April 30, 2019).
