Lessons learned

Members dissolved the cooperative because the expected efficiency gains fell short of what was projected: cooperating 'for efficiency' without a concrete, shared community or clinical need is not enough to sustain a care structure. The care cooperatives that do endure (Hoogeloon, stadsdorpen) are born from a locally felt need among neighbours, not from a scale calculation between organizations.
