Program of the Ministry of Housing (vice-ministry of Water and Basic Sanitation) that implements a water distribution model for dispersed rural population in La Guajira through public standpipe modules adapted to Wayuu customs.

01 The context
Each module captures, treats and distributes drinking water to dozens of communities. By 2021 it had raised dispersed rural aqueduct coverage from 4% (2017) to 19.4%, with modules delivered (Casa Azul 2019, Wimpeshi 2021, Sararao) and new ones under construction for ~22,000 Wayuu.
