Subject of one of the most cited edtech RCTs in the world (Barrera-Osorio and Linden 2009): equipment provision alone had little effect on learning due to lack of pedagogical integration, a finding that redirected the emphasis toward teacher training. In 2025-2026 it was relaunched as Tecnologías para Aprender, with innovation labs and a focus on AI.● Active· scale national
