PlaN A - National Agroecology Plan (AGROSAVIA)R&D&I initiative led by AGROSAVIA with the MADR to implement agroecological technologies and generate participatory knowledge in prioritized peasant territories and peasant reserve zones. In its first phase it worked on biofactories of biopreparations, composting, beekeeping, soil fertility, coffee post-harvest processing and crop-livestock integration in 14 departments. Subject of one of the most cited edtech RCTs in the world (Barrera-Osorio and Linden 2009): equipment provision alone had little effect on learning due to lack of pedagogical integration, a finding that redirected the emphasis toward teacher training.
